Paintpack is an innovative paint brush packaging that replaces con-ventional plastic packaging and provides an integrated tray to ‘wipe out’ plastic trays. Therefore it has won the german packaging design award 2020 (deutscher Verpackungspreis). Paintpack simultaneously protects brushes and exhibits their bodies and bristles. Thanks to paintpack’s clear visual communication design, the added value of the packaging and customer information, such as brush size, are easily comprehensible. Graphic elements, which evoke dripping paint and provide instructions, complement the straightforward process of constructing the tray. While painting, the tray brings practical benefits, such as an element to wipe away excess paint, which prevents paint spilling. Paintpack wipes away paint and wipes out plastic!
